New Hampton High School Hosts Opportunity Fair Friday (03.13) for Area Students

New Hampton High School will serve as host for an “Opportunity Fair” Friday (03.13), with some 900 students expected to participate.

That’s New Hampton junior Emma Elliott, who says students could come out of the fair with a job, like she did her freshmen year.

Senior Sofia Gastaldi says they’ll have some 60 vendors on hand.

For Gastaldi, New Hampton is her temporary home town away from home as a foreign exchange student from Italy.

The Opportunity Fair, a project in conjunction with Iowa Big North,  runs from 8:15 am to 11:30 am Friday in the New Hampton High School gym.
