The 2023 Floyd County Fair officially opens Wednesday (07.19) just west of Charles City.
Fair Board President Kelsey Uetz says attendees will notice more improvements to the fairground facilities.
Many upgrades in recent years have resulted from the tornado that devastated much of the fairgrounds in 2019. Four years later, Uetz says their recovery efforts have made for a better experience for fairgoers.
