Charles City Trivia Night Saturday to Benefit Riverside Chapel

The 5th Annual Charles City Trivia Night this weekend will again help pay for renovations to the chapel at Riverside Cemetery.

Student Jonah DeVore is with the Eighth Grade Riverside Chapel Committee and says this year’s event has a “Hollywood” theme.

Fellow eighth grader and committee member Lyla Rogstad says Trivia Night is a fundraiser to continue restoration of the chapel, well over 100-years-old.

Teacher Amanda Rahmiller says what’s next for the chapel after restoration is complete is yet to be determined.

There’s still time to sign up a team for Trivia Night this Saturday night at 7 pm in the Charles City Middle School. Cost is $150 for a team of six. There will also be a silent auction with doors opening at 6:15 pm.

Monetary donations and donations of silent auction items are also welcome and can be dropped off at the Middle School office.

For more information or to sign up your trivia team, email [email protected] or call the middle school office (641-257-6530) and ask for Amanda Rahmiller.
