American Education Week Recognizes Schools’ Many Faces

This is American Education Week, saluting all of those who play a role in the education process.

A different group of people in the school district have been recognized each day this week, including those who aren’t there everyday, but are vital to student education, substitute teachers.

That’s Jenny Adam, Band Director at New Hampton Middle School, who says, in addition to saluting substitute teachers, Friday also is also devoted to the people that school staff are devoted to serving.

American Education Week is celebrated each year in the week before Thanksgiving to provide an opportunity for communities across the country to celebrate educators’ contributions to their communities and get to know the scope of their work on their students’ behalf.
