Bid Deadline Monday for Charles City Property at 311 4th Avenue

The City of Charles City is accepting sealed bids for the purchase and redevelopment of property located at 311 4th Avenue.

• Minimum Bid: $10,000
• Bid Deadline: Monday, October 12, at 3:00 p.m.
• Bid Submission: Charles City City Hall, 900 Clark Street

Bidders are asked for information about their proposed redevelopment, anticipated development schedule, experience, and ability to complete the project. The City will consider these factors, along with the bid amount, when evaluating proposals.

The property will be sold “AS IS,” and the successful buyer will be required to undertake substantial reconstruction, rehabilitation, or redevelopment of the property in accordance with the City’s requirements.
