“Heroes Night – Salute to Service” Friday (Oct. 9) Night at New Hampton Football Game

It’s the 3rd annual “Heroes Night” at Friday (Oct. 9) night’s New Hampton home football game against Waukon.

Activities Director Cory McDonald says it’s a “salute to service” to military and emergency personnel across Chickasaw County.

McDonald says Heroes will be recognized at halftime.

McDonald says salute to service holds special significance for the families of military veterans like George Malloy, recognized last year.

At the time he was honored last year, Malloy was one of the oldest surviving military veterans in Chickasaw County. McDonald says, unfortunately, Malloy has since passed away.
