The “Little Light of Mine” holiday lights won’t open until next month in New Hampton, so organizer Dixie Zeien says there’s still time to sign up as a display sponsor.
Dee McGrath says Little Light of Mine will open at Mikkelson Park on Wednesday night, November 25 and will stay lit through December 27th, with lights on a timer to turn on each night.
McGrath also notes that preparation for this year’s event will miss the contributions of former Board member and longtime New Hampton Schools Superintendent Jay Jurrens, who passed away last week.
