Floyd County Museum Hires New Director

The Floyd County Museum in Charles City has hired a new director.

Christopher Anthony with the museum Board says Megan Ward will join the staff in time for Heritage Fest on July 25th.

Ward fills the vacancy created with the resignation of Mckenna Lloyd in May. Lloyd left for a new job opportunity in Minnesota after having served as museum director since August 2022.

Anthony says vendors are still being accepted for Heritage Fest.  Contact the Floyd County Museum for more information.
