Nashville country artist Kaylyn Sahs is back in Charles City tonight (12/10/25) for another live performance at the Charles Theatre after packing the house earlier this year. In this Community Conversations feature, Sahs shares what she’s been up to since May, including new music, viral “Hee Haw”-style videos with her dad, and a major milestone—an upcoming performance at Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Café. She also talks about her songwriting process and what fans can expect from tonight’s show.

Tickets are just $10 and available now at charlestheatre.org. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m. Don’t wait — this one’s bound to fill up fast. Get your seats early and celebrate the season with Kaylyn Sahs live in Charles City.

Chris Berg

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City, which basically means he’s been corn‑fed and radio‑bred since day one. As a kid, he was always caught singing along to the radio — and while he’ll tell you he’s great at karaoke, let’s just say the audience’s ears often file a noise complaint. When he’s not busy butchering ‘80s power ballads, Chris enjoys starting overly ambitious home projects that rarely make it past the “great idea” stage. He lives in Charles City with his endlessly patient wife Vicki and their kids, Brynlee and Jaxon, who have already perfected the art of the eye‑roll every time Dad cracks another “dad joke.”
