In advance of their Veterans Day program this Tuesday (11.11), American Legion Fae Stine Post 38 in New Hampton will host a Grilled Pork Chop Dinner this Sunday (11.09).
The meal includes an Iowa pork chop, salad bar, garlic mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and dinner roll, with serving from 4 to 7 pm at The Pub at the Pinicon, according to post commander Brian Quirk.
Proceeds fund American Legion community projects and service to veterans.
Quirk says they’ll also be adding a gazebo over their patriotic-painted rock along the Tribe Trail in New Hampton.
Tickets for Sunday’s dinner are $20 and may be purchased from any Legion member or at the restaurant. It is open to the public.
