Festival of Trees to Benefit Local Non-Profits Opens Friday (11.07) in Charles City

The Festival of Trees and Wreaths non-profit fundraiser in Charles City is set to open for public viewing.
The event debuts with a Wine and Dessert Open House from noon to 7 pm Friday (11.07), with trees also available for viewing from 10 am to 2 pm Saturday (11.08) in the former Rustic Corner building on North Main Street.
Organizer Tami Vetter encourages taking a look before bidding on the trees.
And there are more than trees to bid on.
Ginger Williams with the Charles City Chamber says proceeds will benefit local non-profit organizations.
The final opportunity to see the entries up close will be during the Pink Friday Shop Local event in Charles City on Friday, November 21st.
The auction will close on Sunday, November 23rd. Winners can then pick up their trees, wreaths, or gift baskets before Thanksgiving weekend. Details will be sent to bid winners.
