Charles City Community Fund Hosts Cornhole Fundraiser at Floyd County Fair

Teams can still sign up for the Charles City Community Fund “Cornhole Tournament” coming to the Floyd County Fair.

The Community Fund’s Brian Fuller says, for a $20 entry fee, two-person teams will compete in a double elimination tournament with cash payouts determined by the number of teams entered.

Bags and boards will be provided, with check-in Saturday afternoon July 19th at 3 pm and the tournament starting at 4 pm.

Fuller says the Cornhole Tournament is one of the Community Fund’s biggest fundraisers of the year, which they, in turn, distribute that money other organizations.

The latest round of awards was handed out on Friday (07.11).
