It’s Irish Festival this weekend in Lawler.
President and entertainment coordinator Ben Larson says opening ceremonies are at 6:30 pm Friday (06.20) night, followed by an all-ladies music lineup.
The northeast Iowa music connection continues Saturday (06.21) night.
The Lawler Irish Festival parade is at 1 pm Saturday (06.21), with Irish music to follow including Bagpiper Paul following the parade, the Amadans at 3:15 pm, Kellen O’Collum at 5 pm, and Sorcha at 6:45 pm.
Larson encourages getting there early Saturday.
There will also be free outdoor family movie showings in Croell Park at dusk both nights.
