Carrie Becker on New Hampton Library’s Bee Program and Summer Reading Events

COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS BROUGHT TO YOU BY FLOYD COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER:

Rob Getz spoke with director Carrie Becker with the New Hampton Public Library on next Tuesday’s Bee Program at 5:30pm.  This free program will invite Mary Wiltgen talking about her honey and honeybees.  Carrie will also talk about hunting wild bees, including the rare Rusty Patched Bumblebee, which is now on the Endangered Species list.

Becker also teases ahead the theme of their Summer Reading Program called ‘Level Up’.  She’ll kickoff with an event in early June with video gaming, crafts and other fun projects for the kids.  Make sure to follow for more on the New Hampton Facebook page.
