Luther College, NICC Sign Residential Campus Partnership
Luther College President Brad Chamberlain and Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) Interim President David Dahms have announced a residential campus partnership that allows a cohort of NICC students to live on the Luther campus.
Starting in the Fall 2025 semester, between 20 and 50 NICC students will have the opportunity to live on the third floor of Larsen Hall while they are enrolled at the NICC Calmar campus. As campus residents, NICC students may purchase meal plans, including cafeteria dining and on-the-go choices. They will also have access to the fitness facilities within the Regents Center and resources at Preus Library.
Chamberlain said, “We know the power of the residential campus experience, and we want to share the positive benefits of community with NICC students. We look forward to them becoming a positive addition to our campus community.”
Dahms added, “This innovative partnership with Luther College will provide housing opportunities that enhance the overall college experience for NICC students. This collaboration supports and enhances our students’ academic and personal growth. Our partnerships with four-year colleges like Luther College are a key part of our commitment to student success and opportunity.”
Luther will hold NICC orientation days for students interested in visiting the Luther campus. NICC will provide a forum for students to connect and identify roommates.
NICC students will be required to follow both the NICC student code of conduct and Luther’s tenant expectations.
