It’s the 5th Annual “Their Fight is Our Fight” 5K run/walk/ride Friday (04.25) evening in New Hampton.
The event is sponsored by Everybody Hurts, which organizer Audrey Drewelow says promotes mental health awareness and suicide prevention in various ways throughout the community, including bringing in training sessions and mental health experts.
This year’s 5K event will be headquartered at the Chickasaw Event Center in New Hampton, with registration for $20 starting at 4:30 pm. Opening ceremonies at 5:45 pm and the run/walk/ride at 6 pm.
There’s also a silent auction, free will donation meal and a guest speaker, which Drewelow says are also open to non-participants.
