A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for 89-year old Monsignor Carl Lambert Schmitt of New Hampton 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 14th, at Holy Family Parish, New Hampton. Interment will be in St. Luke’s Cemetery, St. Lucas.
Friends may greet the family 4 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 13th, at Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in New Hampton where there will be a 3:30 p.m. Knights of Columbus Rosary and a 7:00 p.m. parish scripture service. Visitation continues an hour prior to the Mass at the church on Tuesday.
Carl passed away Wednesday, January 8th, at MercyOne Medical Center in New Hampton.
