A North Iowa woman is among two people who perished after a two-vehicle wreck in Mower County Minnesota earlier this week.
The Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) says 25-year-old Jacie Weaver of Rockwell was driving a van north on US Highway 218 at about 10:45 am Tuesday (09.24) morning when she collided head-on with a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Whin Gay of Austin at the intersection of 140th Street in between Lyle and Austin.
The MSP says both drivers died as a result of the crash and noted that Gay was not wearing a seat belt.
