The Charles City Street Department has been taking on water…main repairs with more frequency within the past week.
City Administrator Steve Diers told the City Council Monday (09.16) night that service work on the water tower along Highway 14 has resulted in more than a handful of water main breaks.
Diers says the company conducting the work on the water tower has a two-month window to complete the project, but they appear to be on track to finish in about a month.
