Rob Getz spoke with local Ossian author Sue Lienau and her recent children’s book ‘Ruford Visits the Northwoods’.
Sue’s second book in a trilogy about a Decorah eagle and his journey, Sue discusses her inspiration behind the book series, her travels that lent to the story, and the process involving writing and illustrating the pages while also managing her family-owned bar and grill in Northeast Iowa.
She will be making an appearance at Fredericksburg’s Plum Creek Art Center on Saturday, August 19th at 10am.
