Shuttle Service Available Friday Night at New Hampton Heartland Days

It’s Heartland Days this weekend in New Hampton.

Festivities get started at 6 pm Friday night with the parade through downtown New Hampton. New Horizons Chamber Executive Liz Zweibohmer says the parade, combined with both the New Hampton High School baseball and softball teams playing home games that night, means parking will be at a premium.

So, they’ve teamed up with the Chickasaw Event Center to provide a shuttle service.

After the parade, Heartland Days activities shift to Mikkelson Park, including Friday night family concert with The Dweebs followed by fireworks at dusk.

Saturday events start at 9 am and continue all day including the Maker’s Market, Show and Shine Car Show, corn hole tournament, and the crowning of Little Miss Heartland Days.

Live music includes performances by Madison Kolbet, Bruce Day and the Saturday night concert with Rhino from 8 to 11:30 pm.
