Nashua-Plainfield’s Kadence Huck is a two-time state champ in the Girls Class 1A 400 meters.
Just a sophomore, Huck won her second gold medal at the State Track and Field Championships in Des Moines Thursday, just missing setting a new state record in the process.
While she didn’t set a state record, Huck bested her own personal 400 time by almost two seconds. Her winning time Thursday of 55.94 seconds is the best outdoor 1A time in the state this season.
