Floyd County Campgrounds to Open Friday with New Way to Pay

Floyd County campgrounds will open for the 2023 season this Friday.

Floyd County Conservation naturalist Heidi Reams says some campground users will also be able to take advantage of a new way to pay for their camp site.

Reams adds that those online payments can be made right at your campground.

Reams also notes that the Fossil and Prairie Center just west of Rockford will be open weekends in May starting this Saturday.
