Turkey and Elf Events Tuesday (11.22) in Chickasaw, Floyd Counties

Family events to get you into the holiday spirit are being offered Tuesday (11.22) evening in Floyd and Chickasaw counties.

With Thanksgiving Thursday, Naturalist Matt Crayne says Chickasaw County Conservation presents “Talkin’ Turkey with Tots” at  the Twin Ponds Nature Center southeast of Iowa Tuesday evening at 5 p.m.

Crayne says the program is free, but pre-registration is preferred by calling 641-394-4714.  More information is available on the Chickasaw Conservation and Twin Ponds Nature Center Facebook page.

For those craving Christmas early, Director Annette Dean says the Charles City Public Library will host the Family Interactive Movie Event featuring the film, “Elf,” which is also free starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The Charles City Public Library Facebook page reads that moviegoers can “taste sweet sweet goodies, throw and yell while you watch this fun movie!”
