American Education Week continues saluting all of those who play a role in the education process.
Teachers are being recognized Thursday. Jenny Adam is Band Director at New Hampton Middle School. She says the effect a teacher can have on a student can be more than just classroom instruction.
Adams says, like all school staff members, the role of teachers was challenged and expanded during the pandemic.
Adam adds that while American Education Week is a reminder that teachers, subs, administrators and support staff do their jobs all year round, also remember that they are doing their parts every day all year round.
