Main Street Charles City Marks 30-Year Milestone

It’s a milestone anniversary for Main Street Charles City.

That’s Main Street’s Tonya Nosbisch, who says the push to become a Main Street community was spurred by unfortunate circumstances.

Nosbisch says that while Main Street looks to bring people together with events like this Thursday’s (Sept. 24) Harvest Moon Festival from 4 to 9 PM in downtown Charles City, they don’t stop there.

As for the future of Main Street Charles City.

Nosbisch also addresses a misnomer about Main Street Charles City and the Charles City Chamber of Commerce.

To learn more about Main Street Charles City, visit their booth during the Harvest Moon Festival Thursday, with free cupcakes while supplies last, courtesy of Charles City High School’s Comet Cafe. There will also be a short program at 6:30 PM before live musical entertainment begins at 7 PM.
