Chickasaw County Supervisors Acknowledges Resignation of Conservation Director

Last week, Chickasaw County Supervisors accepted the resignation of Chad Humpal as Weed Commissioner and Landfill Director.

Tuesday (Sept. 8), Supervisors acknowledged the resignation of Humpal as Chickasaw County Conservation Director, effective this Friday (Sept. 11).

That’s Supervisors Board Chair Jacob Hackman, who also noted that the Conservation Board will bring Humpal back on staff next week.

Hackman understood the Conservation Board’s plan for Humpal to help until his replacement is hired, but also cautioned staying within budget.

Hackman also added that the Conservation Board had meetings scheduled for Wednesday (Sept. 9) and Thursday (Sept. 10) to interview director candidates.
