No injuries reported in fender-bender at Floyd intersection

The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a collision at the Floyd intersection Tuesday evening (7/25).

The crash report states that 40-year-old Seth Gill of Denton, Maryland was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado pulling a camper eastbound on Highway 218 when he was rear-ended by a 2022 Ford Escape operated by 74-year-old Robert Payne of Denver.

No injuries were reported.

Damages to both vehicles were estimated at $2,500.
