Cozy sweaters, pumpkins, shopping local: The Harvest Moon Festival returns to downtown Charles City Thursday (Sept. 24) evening.
That’s Darcy Tracey with the retail event organizer, Main Street Charles City. She says Harvest Moon features shopping, live music, restaurants with food specials, and other family-friendly activities from 4 to 9 PM.
Attendees can also vote for their favorite scarecrow via the QR code at each scarecrow that lines Main Street. Scarecrows have been created by local businesses, with voting from 4 to 7 PM, and a people’s choice award announced at 7:30 PM.
Scarecrows will stay up till the end of October.
