Ag Matters: Starlyn Perdue, State Executive Director, at the Farm Progress Show

Starlyn Perdue was appointed by the Trump Administration to serve as the state executive director of the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) in Iowa in October 2025. Last week, she was hosted by Farm4Profit at the Farm Progress Show. FSA has been in the works of streamlining their data monitorization to help create ease for the farmers as well as the FSA workers.

This is what the plan for the streamline for the monitorization has in store.

There have been comments about the frustration that comes from farmers about having a packet mailed to them from the FSA for them to fill out when really the FSA should already have the information on hand. Perdue touches on the departments through the USDA and how the voluntary survey may even be possible to fill out on your phone in the future.

Again that was Starlyn Perdue, State Executive Director of the USDA Farm Service Agency being interviewed by Farm4Profit.
