It’s the 28th annual Steeple Day Saturday (07.25) in Lourdes, located along US Highway 63, about 15 miles north of New Hampton.
That’s Pauline Shatek with the group organizing of the event: the Lourdes Park and Rec Association, recently certified as a 501(C)3 non-profi.
Shatek says festivities at Our Lady of Lourdes Church and nearby park include a sanctioned Tractor Pull at 10 AM, with a a Garden Tractor Pull and non-sanctioned New Hampton FFA Kids Pedal Tractor Pull, both at 11 AM.
There’s also bingo, the Show and Shine Car Show, and a Visit to Stone City.
The ParkAssociation’s Brian Arnold says live music will begin at 5 pm Saturday.
Proceeds from Steeple Day go to improvements, repairs and upgrades at the church.
