Slots Still Open for Charles City Community Fund Floyd County Fair Cornhole Fundraiser

Teams can still sign up for the Charles City Community Fund “Cornhole Tournament” this weekend at the Floyd County Fair.

The Community Fund’s Mike McCarty says, for a $20 entry fee, two-person teams will compete in a double elimination tournament Saturday (07.18) with cash payouts determined by the number of teams entered.

Teams can register by calling 641-228-0146 or emailing charlescitycommunityfund@gmail.com. 

Bags and boards will be provided, with check-in Saturday afternoon  at 3 pm and the tournament starting at 4 pm.

The group’s Brian Fuller says the Cornhole Tournament is one of The Community Fund’s biggest fundraisers of the year.
