A Northeast Iowa woman died over the July 4th holiday weekend after she fell from a moving vehicle.
The Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office says the fatal incident happened along Ansborough Avenue in Waterloo just after 7 PM Saturday (07.04) night. A silver 2019 Toyota Camry was traveling southbound when 22-year-old Tejanna Hatt of Waterloo fell out and hit the road.
Hatt was taken to MercyOne hospital in Waterloo, where she was pronounced dead from her injuries.
An investigation is ongoing and anyone with more information on the incident is asked to call Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office.
Iowa State Patrol and Hudson Fire Department also assisted on scene.
