The Golden Years Education Conference returns next week to North Iowa.
Jana Menzter is with the Aging Services Coalition, coordinators the one-day conference Monday (06.15) in the Muse-Norris Center on the NIACC campus in Mason City.
The conference is designed to support individuals as they navigate the journey of aging and life beyond retirement.
Menzter says the Golden Years conference will include sessions and speakers on a variety of topics.
Other session topics include planning for the next steps, maintaining your well-being, and understanding the evolving role of caregiving for a loved one.
Cost for the conference, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday, is just $15 and includes a light breakfast and lunch. Menzter says preregistration is preferred by calling 641-422-4358 to ensure they have enough seminar materials and food. However, she adds that walk-ins are welcome.
