New Hampton Fire Department Big Projects Fundraising Campaign Scheduled to End Wednesday (04.15)

Donations  are due Wednesday (04.15) to the New Hampton Fire Department (NHFD) 2026 Annual Big Projects Fund Drive.

That’s Fire Chief Toby Schwickerath, who says the Big Projects sponsorship approach is a shift away from the traditional Firemen’s Ball.

In an effort to increase their reach, NHFD has sent out a sponsorship mailer to every address in the 50659 area code.

Schwickerath acknowledges that not everyone in the 50659 area code is in the New Hampton Fire District, but also notes that all fire departments cross district lines to provide mutual aid to their neighbors.

He adds that fundraising campaigns like Big Projects are vital for rural fire departments to stay equipped to fight fires and provide rescue services.

Donors are asked to return their red card and contributions by April 15th, with Schwickerath stressing that every little bit helps.
