New Hampton Trapshooting Team Opens Season Tuesday (03.31)

The New Hampton Trapshooting Team is scheduled to open the season Tuesday (03.31) with a home meet at 3:45 pm at the Fredericksburg Sportsmen’s Club.

That’s Mindy Casterton-Humpal, a team mom who adds that as the team has grown in numbers, they’re also expanding their competition options.

Casterton-Humpal says this year’s group includes 27 student-athletes between 7th and 12th grades.

This season also marks the 20th anniversary of the New Hampton Trapshooting Program, which will be an underlying theme for their Fifth Annual Trapshooting Fundraiser Banquet this Friday (04.03) night at the New Hampton Golf and Country Club.
