Updated: Alice Ann Barloon, 90 of Little Turkey

Due to inclement weather, the funeral for Alice Barloon will now begin at 12:00 p.m., with visitation held one hour prior at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Little Turkey.

Alice Ann Barloon age 90 of Little Turkey, IA, died Saturday, February 14, 2026, at New Hampton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2026, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Little Turkey, with Rev. Nick Radloff celebrating the Mass.

Interment will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Little Turkey, with Joe Barloon, Kyle Barloon, Shane Barloon, Ryan Barloon, Reece Barloon, Carver Gage, and Mitchell Gage serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Jennifer Barloon, Jessica Barloon, Allison Barloon, and Amber Wilson.

Friends are invited to greet the family from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Hugeback – Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in New Hampton, with a 7:00 p.m. parish scripture service. Visitation continues an hour before the Mass at the church in Little Turkey on Friday.

As a kid, he was always caught singing along to the radio — and while he’ll tell you he’s great at karaoke, let’s just say the audience’s ears often file a noise complaint. When he’s not busy butchering ‘80s power ballads, Chris enjoys starting overly ambitious home projects that rarely make it past the “great idea” stage. He lives in Charles City with his endlessly patient wife Vicki and their kids, Brynlee and Jaxon, who have already perfected the art of the eye‑roll every time Dad cracks another “dad joke.”
