Northeast Iowa19-Year-Old Sentenced for Sexual Abuse of Minors

A northeast Iowa 19-year-old has been sentenced to eight concurrent 25-year prison terms following his conviction on eight counts of second-degree sexual abuse.
The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) arrested Isaiah Yos-Eddy of Waterloo in January 2025 after, according to court documents, a Health and Human Services (HHS) Child and Adult Protective Worker contacted WCSO in May 2024 to investigate a report of child sexual abuse. A trio of victims, all under 12-years-old, made statements to their parents of sex abuse by Yos-Eddy in Decorah.
Further investigation led to an interview with Yos-Eddy, who allegedly admitted to engaging in illicit activity with the children several times a week from 2019 to 2023.
On Tuesday (02.10), Yod-Eddy was sentenced in Winneshiek County District Court. He is also required to register as a sex offender and faces additional penalties.
