Activities Sought for Cabin Fever Weekend in Charles City Jan. 30-Feb. 1

The holiday season is winding down, but planning has already begun for Cabin Fever Weekend in and around Charles City January 30th through February 1st. 

Each year the Charles City Area Chamber of Commerce coordinates a variety of indoor and outdoor activities to break up the post-holiday winter blahs and get people out of the house and doing things in the community.

Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to get in on the fun by offering something special to the public to get them out and about. 

Examples of activities in the past have included cross country skiing and snowshoeing, demonstrations, cooking or crafts classes, kids parties, beer curling, Giant Chess, Scavenger Hunts, bingo nights, craft fairs, a kids ice fishing tournament, Family NERF Night, Game Night, Escape Room, and more.
