One person is dead after a single-vehicle weekend crash in northeast Iowa.
The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office said it received a report of a vehicle wreck at the intersection of Osterdock Road and Garber Road in Guttenberg around 7 pm Saturday (12.27). At the scene, deputies found a 2010 Ford Explorer had flipped over after the car failed to stop and left the roadway.
The driver was identified as 53-year-old Steven Elsinger of rural Guttenberg.
Elsinger was the only person in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident is under investigation
