Northeast Iowa Woman Hit by Postal Vehicle, Dies From Injurie

A northeast Iowa woman has died from injuries she suffered after she was hit by a postal truck.

Cedar Falls Police say 73-year old Charlotte Wells was struck by a United States Postal Service delivery vehicle in downtown Cedar Falls on Saturday (12.20). Cedar Falls Public Safety personnel and MercyOne Paramedics responded to the scene in the 500 block of Main Street. 

The Cedar Falls woman was transported to a local hospital where she later died. 

Cedar Falls Public Safety is continuing their investigation.
