Marguerite Louise Gaede, 83, of Plainfield

Marguerite Louise Gaede, age 83, of Plainfield, IA, died Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 31, 2025, at Hugeback Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory – Olson Chapel in Nashua with Rev. Darin Cerwinske officiating. Interment will be held at Willow Lawn Cemetery, Plainfield with Tony Russell, Brad Billman, Justin Gaede, Bryce Billman, Cory Asche, and Mike Caswell serving as pallbearers.

Friends may greet the family from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Hugeback Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory – Olson Chapel in Nashua. Visitation continues an hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.

He lives in Charles City with his endlessly patient wife Vicki and their kids, Brynlee and Jaxon, who have already perfected the art of the eye‑roll every time Dad cracks another “dad joke.”
