30th Annual Spookwalk Set for Monday, October 27 in Charles City
In what has become a local Halloween tradition, Charles City will celebrate 30 years of Spookwalk on Monday, October 27th.
This year’s theme, “Spookwalk Time Machine,” looks back over the past three decades. This free family-focused event is for children up through sixth grade and their families, brought to you by the friendly goblins at Main Street Charles City.
Walk the Riverfront Park Trail from 4:30 to 6:30 pm on October 27th through displays from local businesses and organizations. Lineup for Spookwalk is on the recreational trail behind the Charles City Public Library. Bring a bag for your treats and a camera for lasting memories for the entire family
Again this year, a special pre-entry period from 4 to 4:30 pm will be offered for children with special/sensory needs or may struggle with large crowds. Children must pre-register for the pre-entry by contacting the Main Street Charles City office or email [email protected]
No early entry will be allowed that night without pre-registration, which runs through October 24th.
In case of inclement weather, the Spookwalk rain date will be Wednesday October 29th.
