Chickasaw County Conservation’s annual Halloween Hikes are this Tuesday (10.14) night at Twin Ponds Nature Center, southeast of Ionia.
Naturalist Matt Crayne invites area kids to join in the non-scary nature walk.
Crayne says this year’s theme is “Nature’s Superheroes.”
New Hampton eighth grade students will again be helping Tuesday.
Crayne adds that while the event is free, there is a limit to about 25 people per hike. So, reserve your hike time slot by calling 641-394-4714.
Halloween Hikes will depart next Tuesday evening at 6 pm, 6:15 pm, 6:30 pm and 6:45 pm, with Crayne noting that the 6 pm slot was almost full as of Wednesday (10.08).
