Floyd County Medical Center Announces Theme for Next Gala Fundraiser

Floyd County Medical Center (FCMC) has announced the theme for its next fundraising gala.

In March, FCMC celebrated the hospital’s 60th anniversary in Charles City with its first-ever fundraising gala, a black tie affair that raised over $40,000 for future capital projects at FCMC. That success that prompted officials to look towards similar events in the future.

FCMC sought the public’s help in that effort with a community-wide survey that ran from early June to mid-July, with “Casino Royale” emerging victorious as the top choice among voters.

Makenzie McNeill, director of marketing, public relations, and the Foundation at FCMC, said, “We are so excited to host another community fundraiser in 2026. After the success of our gala in February, we knew that we wanted to plan more of these engaging events that bring our community together and also invest in our local health care.”

The gala is scheduled for February 20, 2026 at the Floyd County Fairgrounds. The entertainment vendor will be Royale Flush Gaming based out of Des Moines.

FCMC plans to release more information about sponsorship opportunities and tickets in the fall.
