Registration Open for Floyd County Conservation Hunter’s Ed Course

Registration is still open for the Hunter’s Education Course being hosted this weekend by Floyd County Conservation.

Naturalist Heidi Reams says this will be a live firing class from 8 am to 4:30 pm Saturday (08.23) at the Fossil and Prairie Center, just west of Rockford.

Iowa law requires that anyone born after January 1, 1972 must be certified in hunter education before they are eligible to purchase an Iowa hunting license.

Reams adds that some parents will attend the Hunters Ed Class with their child as a refresher of hunting rules and regulations.
