The Charles City Arts Council hosts its 52nd Art-A-Fest this weekend.
That’s Jennifer Gintz with the Art-A-Fest planning committee, who says festivities will run from 10 am to 4 pm Saturday (08.16) in Central Park.
There’s also live entertainment.
Kids interactive art activities include spin art, marble art, making finger puppets, and painting with anything but a brush.
Cash prizes are awarded to artists whose work is judged superior and Art-A-Fest bucks are awarded to lucky shoppers to purchase artwork.
The event is rain or shine and will only be canceled for severe and dangerous weather. The Farmers Market also runs adjacent to the park from 9 am until noon.
