Area Fire Departments Offer Pool Filling Service
Area fire departments are again providing water delivery service to fill residential backyard swimming pools.
Charles City Fire Rescue says water is $50 a truck load and you can call the fire station to get on their service list. Though they note that they are running a bit behind schedule currently, they are slowly chipping away.
The New Hampton Fire Department (NHFD) says the City is in charge of billing for mileage and water for their pool filling service, they just ask for a free will donation to the firefighters association for their time. The best way is to get you on their list to have your pool filled in New Hampton is to contact NHFD email with a phone number and someone will reach out to coordinate. [email protected]
Nashua residents can get on the list to have their swimming pools filled by first paying at City Hall, with the Nashua Volunteer Fire Department making deliveries in June. Costs range from $35 for 1,000 gallons of water up to $725 for 15,000 gallons.
