It’s the annual Colwell Day celebration this Saturday (06.14) in Colwell.
Jessie Wegner is with Colwell Betterment, which coordinates the daylong schedule of events, which includes the Show & Shine Car Show at 11 am.
Of course, as Wegner told KCHA/KCZE’s Chris Berg and Kay Winkelman, there’s Barnyard Bingo.
Festivities also include the Colwell Fire Department lunch starting at 11:30 am, the parade at noon, live auction, kids games, petting zoo, and inflatables, plus live music from Lonesome Road Band starting at 6 pm followed by fireworks at 10 pm.
Wegner adds that activities, minus the parade, will originate from Colwell City Park, with proceeds from the event will help pay for a new playground.
