Grand Opening for Nashua-Plainfield Baseball/Softball Complex in Plainfield Thursday (05.29)

It’s the grand opening of the new Nashua-Plainfield baseball/softball complex in Plainfield Thursday (05.29) night.
The Huskies softball team has played their home games in Plainfield for decades, but their diamond also got a makeover.
That’s head coach Jessica Stastny-Hall, who says improvements weren’t just on the field.
Stastny, in her seventh season as head coach, says the softball team will experience a home game rarity with their 7:30 pm game.
It’s a brand new field for the Nashua-Plainfield baseball team in Plainfield, which first-year head coach Mason Hyde says will be a welcome home after playing on the diamonds at the Big Four Fairgrounds in Nashua in recent years.
Hyde says the new complex is great for players and fans alike.
Thursday night’s 6 pm game won’t be the first for the Huskies baseball team, but it’s certainly their biggest to date.
Festivities in Plainfield begin with a ribbon cutting and donor recognition ceremony at 5:30 pm. There will also be field dedications and ceremonial first pitches prior to each game, along with post game refreshments.
